The Vietnam tour is planned carefully to capture the late rice harvest of the mountains above Hanoi and the people of the Hmong tribes.

Starting in Hanoi with 2 days capturing the full-on colour, noise, serenity and splendour of Vietnam’s famous city in the North, we then move slowly up into the mountains in 4x4s and explore the green rice paddies and mountains.

Some time on local trains while our luggage carries on up the valleys will offer a glimpse into the real culture, country and life of North Vietnam.

Focusing on the rice harvest and life in and around the small villages of the Hmong tribes high in the mountains is the key ‘social documentary’ element while the mornings of mist at this time of the year will balance the landscape lovers with an equally busy daily schedule.
