Photography can be more than just simply lifting a camera, pressing a shutter and making an image.
It is a creative, non-verbal, artistic language.
Our ethos is in ‘real learning’ about photography for all levels, beginner to advanced, working with you in carefully selected locations that inspire you.
We want to inspire you, to get up early and catch the dawn ‘Blue Hour’ and then still feel driven to stay up to capture the ‘Golden hour’ at dusk and sundown…
Ladakh in Northern India is situated on the ‘rooftop of the world‘ right under the Himalayas and is commonly known as Little Tibet.
Spectacularly rugged, cinematic and arid mountains circle this awe inspiring Buddhist ex-kingdom. Picture-perfect Tibetan Buddhist monasteries dramatically perch and cling to rocky outcrops amid whitewashed stupas and mani walls. Colourful fluttering prayer flags send their spiritual messages with the mountain breeze from bridges, rooftops and man-made rock walls. Ancient Prayer wheels spun clockwise release merit-making mantras. Stupa and Gompa interiors are colourfully awash with the murals and ancient heritage of bodhisattvas from time long gone.
